Jean Flynn has been involved in the arts her entire life, from taking dance lessons at the age of three onward to seeking out a college that would develop her love of writing into a career. She has a BFA from Naropa University in Boulder, CO and has been teaching the skills of wildcrafting, basketry, and nature arts for the past 15 years in the Eastern Shore community. She was a member of the Artisans Guild and had her own art studio before her children usurped her time. When she is not working at the Lemon Tree Gallery and Studio or performing, she manages a 10-acre organic, biodynamic homestead and teaches Theater Arts to the Cape Charles Christian School. Her latest creative endeavor is building a shed made out of recycled bottles, jars, shells, and broken dishes.
